KTC, the World’s No. 1 Testing Certification Institute Leading the Way to the 4th Industrial Revolution
The Korean Testing Certification Institute (KTC) participated in the "Korea-Vietnam Business Partnership" event in conjunction with President Jaemyung Lee’s official visit to Vietnam, providing support for Korean companies looking to enter the Vietnamese market.
On the 23rd, KTC operated a specialized consulting program for companies at the Korea-Vietnam Business Partnership event held at the National Convention Center (NCC) in Hanoi.
Approximately 300 companies from both countries took part in the event, with around 115 Korean companies focusing on key industries, including AI, semiconductors, electric/electronics, bio, and consumer goods.
This event, held in connection with official diplomatic schedules, is considered a symbolic occasion that goes beyond simple business exchanges, enhancing strategic cooperation and technical linkages between Korea and Vietnam.
Since January, KTC has been jointly operating the "Vietnam Excellent Innovative Enterprise Certification (VEIE) System" with the National Startup Support Center (NSSC) of Vietnam as a specialized testing and certification institution. KTC directly carried out 1:1 customized technical consultations for Korean and Vietnamese companies onsite.
Comprehensive consulting was provided for essential areas necessary for entering the Vietnamese market, including testing and certification, licensing procedures, and overseas certification strategies.
Through these efforts, KTC actively supported the minimization of technical risks, reduction of market entry periods, and enhancement of product reliability for companies. KTC's activities, carried out in conjunction with President Jaemyung Lee’s visit and participation in the business forum, are significant in serving as a bridge for technology cooperation between the two countries.
With its capabilities in responding to international standards and regulations, KTC supports the enhancement of companies’ global competitiveness and contributes to practically implementing national cooperation in the industrial and technical sectors.
Moving forward, KTC will continue to support the overseas expansion of Korean and Vietnamese companies and the improvement of industrial competitiveness, based on its accumulated expertise and cooperative networks as a global testing and certification organization.
Park Moo-won, Head of KTC’s Vietnam Office, stated, “Through this Korea-Vietnam Business Partnership event, we were able to support technological cooperation between companies from both countries and minimize various burdens that companies face during market entry. KTC will continue to expand testing, certification, and technical support for strengthening the competitiveness of our companies in Vietnam and global markets.”
