Korean Testing Certification Institute to Participate in EV TREND KOREA 2026 and Showcase Future Mobility Testing, Certification, and R&D Achievements
The Korean Testing Certification Institute will participate in EV TREND KOREA 2026, which will be held from August 25 to 27 at Hall A of COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
The Institute will operate an exhibition booth showcasing its advanced mobility testing and certification capabilities as well as its future-oriented research and development achievements.
The booth, numbered A603, will be located in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification Industry Special Pavilion, known as TIC-EXPO.
Under the slogan “Testing Mobility Today, Certifying Its Future,” the Institute will present a virtuous cycle that connects existing mobility testing and evaluation services with research and development, new evaluation criteria and standardization, and future convergence-based testing and certification services.
The exhibition booth will feature three core thematic zones, enabling visitors and industry representatives to easily understand the Institute’s comprehensive capabilities.
The Main Zone will introduce the Institute’s vision for future mobility testing and certification services and its comprehensive business support capabilities. It will highlight the Institute’s brand value and its role in the mobility industry.
The Testing and Evaluation Capability Zone will present performance, safety, and electromagnetic compatibility testing solutions for major mobility products, including electric vehicle chargers, batteries, and automotive electronic components.
The zone will also provide information that helps Korean and international companies better understand and utilize testing and certification procedures.
The R&D Achievement Zone will introduce next-generation projects currently being carried out by the Institute.
These include the establishment of an integrated performance evaluation infrastructure for high-voltage batteries and charging modules for xEVs, as well as the development of verification technologies for the safety, reliability, and vehicle applicability of wireless fast-charging systems.
Through these projects, the Institute will showcase its R&D capabilities in xEV charging modules and wireless charging while demonstrating its expertise in developing evaluation criteria and standards for future mobility technologies.
During the event, the Institute will also provide customized overseas certification and technical consulting services to companies involved in electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and automotive electronic components.
These services will help companies resolve difficulties related to testing, certification, and overseas market entry.
President Sung-il Ahn of the Korean Testing Certification Institute stated that participation in the exhibition would provide an opportunity to present the Institute’s world-class testing and certification capabilities and R&D achievements in next-generation mobility and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
He added that the Institute would continue to lead the standardization of future technologies, including xEV charging modules and wireless charging, while helping Korean companies strengthen their global competitiveness and enter overseas markets.
