KTC Supports Leap to SW Security Power at 'SOFT WAVE 2023'
Korea Testing Certification institute (KTC) announced its participation in the largest domestic software exhibition, 'SOFT WAVE,' held at COEX in Seoul for three days starting from November 29.
During this event, KTC plans to provide consultation and technical support to companies facing challenges in strengthening cybersecurity for medical devices and enforcing security for the IoT both domestically and internationally. Additionally, in response to the burden on SMEs due to budget cuts in national research and development projects, KTC will introduce a service that offers a maximum 10% reduction in fees for software verification and validation (V&V) testing.
KTC's booth will be located in the special section designated by the Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA), as part of the collaboration following the business agreement signed with KOSA in October.
The Digital & Information Security Group of KTC has been providing the highest quality testing services in the field of converged security, including IoT security and cybersecurity for medical devices, starting with the evaluation and certification of information protection products (CC evaluation and certification). In 2021, KTC was designated as a certification body for GS certification and expanded its software testing scope to the field of ESS functionality safety.
Moreover, through business agreements and designation as testing agencies with global testing and certification organizations such as UL, TUV SUD, Eurofins, and NEMKO, KTC is promoting the overseas expansion of domestic companies, contributing to the growth of the global testing and certification market.
